Golden Hammer Awards! Over 20 projects recognized for investing over $10.6 Million in Lawrenceville.
On Tuesday June 17th, the Lawrenceville Tourism & Trade Association (LTTA) and Downtown Development Authority (DDA) presented the 2nd Annual Golden Hammer Awards to over 20 completed projects.
Golden Hammer Awards recognize individuals or businesses for renovations, remodeling, and new construction projects in the Lawrenceville area as well as significant contributions to the promotion and revitalization of historic downtown Lawrenceville. Over 20 individuals or businesses were recognized for investing over $10.6 million and a tremendous amount of hard work in 2007-2008. The Georgia Gwinnett College was offered an award for an additional investment of over $60 Million.

The Golden Hammer Awards were a part of the LTTA’s Annual June Membership Reception at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse. The Lawrenceville Tourism & Trade Association is Lawrenceville’s Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) appointed by the city’s Downtown Development Authority and sanctioned by the City of Lawrenceville with a mission to promote tourism, business development, and civic life in the City of Lawrenceville.
