Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center
A short distance from the Square is the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center: the hub of County activity and a great draw for merchants, restaurants, and business. There is also a proposed trail that will link the Gwinnett Justice & Administration Center with Rhodes Jordan Park. This will increase foot traffic and access by county employees to the downtown Lawrenceville Square. The property for this project has been donated to the City and funding will be drawn from County SPLOST funding.
Rhodes Jordan Park
Just outside the Lawrenceville Square is Rhodes Jordan Park. This 162 acre park has a 22- acre lake surrounded by open space, five picnic pavilions, a 0.8-mile paved multipurpose trail, two playgrounds as well as seven baseball/softball fields, and a football field overlay. The park also features a community center with classrooms, dance/aerobics room, a large community room and a double gymnasium. There is a tennis center with lighted courts and an outdoor leisure pool with three lap lanes and other water features.

Gwinnett Medical & Gwinnett Georgia College
A short disctance down SR 120 is Gwinnett Medical Center , which ranks among the top 5% of medical centers in the country and is another draw for the downtown area.
In addition, there is the newly formed, four year, Gwinnett Georgia College located just north of downtown Lawrenceville.
